On Saturday, April 7th an Euromediterranean meeting on debt and audits will be held in Brussels in order to greater knowledge and empower coordinated actions among campaigners.
The meeting will bring together different campaigners on debt audits from Europe and North of Africa. Delegates from Greece, Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, United Kingdom, Tunisia and Egypt are expected.
Eurodad and other debt audit campaigns and groups working on debt such ACET (Auditions les Créances Envers la Tunisie), AFRI (Action from Ireland), ATTAC/CADTM Morocco, Attac Portugal, CADTM Europe, Campaña por la Auditoria Ciudadana de la Deuda - Barcelona, Greek debt audit campaign, and Eurodad members Debt and Development Coalition Ireland, Observatorio de la Deuda en la Globalización and Jubilee UK, have agreed to support the meeting and combine forces to organise the coordination meeting.
The meeting will aim to develop a mutual learning dialoged between several Euromediterraneans campaigners on debt audits in order to enhance synergies and boost effective and coordinated common actions towards a debt audit and the cancellation of the illegitimate
